I have some reading study techniques. For example, when I read a story, I don't stop reading if I don't know some words. I try to find the meaning in the next sentence or in all paragraphs. I use some strategies to make my reading easier. For instance, I read the title of the story. Also, I look for the pictures to understand the main idea. In my reading environment, I make myself comfortable. For example, I like to read alone and nobody to bother me. However, I like to read and discuss stories with my children. Another way to learn is helping my children with their homework. We work together and find the answer. Sometimes, my husband, my children and I discuss about teenagers' problems. Talking with friends or neighbors is another way to learn. Sometimes, I have good information from them. In conclusion, I believe that I can improve my reading habits if I make these more interesting.
